Cannon Beach

This year we took a little tour of the Northwest for our family vacation. We started off in Cannon Beach, Oregon for a few days with just our family. It was quite cold, but we had a good time just being together.

Fourth of July!

This year we spent the 4th of July in Las Vegas with my sister Joanne and her family. We had a yummy breakfast at church and later watched fireworks at one of the casinos and then more fireworks that the neighbors set off. We had a great time.

Swim lessons.

All four kids took swim lessons this summer. I got to swim with Levi, and he turned out to be quite the little fish. He would even go under the water and try to kick to me. The other kids are getting better but still have a long way to go.

Seth took the boys on the ward father and sons campout in the sand dunes. Apparently it was very windy and sandy, but they had a good time anyway.

Well, it was getting to be time, so we finally gave him a big boy haircut.
He was really good, but he didn't know what to think of it.

Fishing with Grandpa!

In May Ammon got to go fishing with Grandpa Hirschi. Ammon loves going out with grandpa, but he wasn't too excited about cleaning out the fish, or holding it. I think he just likes to be with his grandpa and eat all the treats grandpa likes to buy for him.

Fun outside

One of the things that we looked forward to most when we bought our home was our children being able to play outside more. Now they have a lot of area to play, and they love playing in the dirt!
